Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Arrival at Delhi, transfer you to hotel. Check-in hotel. If time permits visit Akshardham temple in afternoon. Evening at local shopping Centers at Cunnaught Place. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
Full day sightseeing After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Delhi. Visit Red fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus temple, India gate, Raj ghat. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi- Varanasi
After breakfast transfer to Delhi Airport, fly to Varanasi (1 hour 30 mins) , arrival at Varanasi airport, transfer to hotel, First Half at leisure at hotel, evening visit to Ghat of Ganga to witness the most auspicious Ganga Aarti. Enjoy Ganga Aarti, get a glimpse of the spiritualism at the Ganga Ghats. We can also arrange Boat ride to see Ganga Aarti from a different perspective. Overnight at Varanasi.
Day 04: Varanasi- Allahabad
After breakfast transfer to Allahabad ( 160 km), 4 hours drive, arrival at Allahabad, Check-in to Hotel & second half visit to Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Also visit other places like Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhavan - one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan -the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born . Night stay at Allahabad.
Day 05: Allahabad Kumbh festival
Kumbh Mela is the world’s largest religious gathering, a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred or holy river.It is held every third year at one of four places by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad (Prayag), Nasik and Ujjain. Allahabad Kumbh Mela is the most auspicious of all the four places and will only be celebrated again in 12 years time.
Afternoon free to visit the field of Akharas (Several groups of Hindu monks). Overnight will be spent at Allahabad.
Day 06: Kumbh mela
Full day to explore Kumbh Mela. You can visit the Sangam area (sacred confluence), you can interact with Sadhus (monks) and then participate in the Aarti ceremony in Sangam. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Allahabad-Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to Allahabad airport, arrival at Delhi & proceed for your own destination. (Tour ends)
