Day 01: Arrival at Delhi airport – connecting flight to Bhubaneswar

Airport (Sunday) Arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, meet & Greet, transfer to Hotel, Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Bhubaneswar. ( Total Km 20)

Day 02: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing

After breakfast, full day local sightseeing includes: Tribal Museum, Khandagiri & Udayagiri Caves ( JAIN Caves). After lunch, visit temple of Bhubaneswar: Lingaraj Temple ( 11th Century, Mukteswar Temple (9th Century) & Rajarani Temple (11th Century). Overnight at Bhubaneswar. ( Total Km 80)

Day 03: Bhubaneswar - Textile Village - Dhenkanal Heritage Palace (Saturday)

Early morning Chk out & transfer to Dhenkanal Heritage Palace. Enroute visit Nuapatana Weavers Village & Maniabandha Textile Village, these villages has distinct place in the map of Indian textile. Their TIE & DYE patterns popularly known as IKAT, interaction with weavers is always a delight. 2nd half transfer to Dhenkanal Palace & Overnight stay at the Royal palace of Denkanal.

A truly royal eastern retreat, Dhenkanal Palace, the residence of the former Rajas of Dhenkanal is now a heritage homestay where one can experience history, tradition, art, culture and heritage of Dhenkanal.

The last ruler, Raja Shankar Pratap Mahindra Bahadur (1925 – 65), was the seventeenth ruler since the foundation of the State and the first ruler in Orissa to merge with India in 1948. Day 04: Denkanal Royal Palace

After breakfast at Royal palace, Morning photography activities including: jungle trekking, tribal village & birding. Sadeibareni Dhokra Craft Village, This village is home to near to 25 families & out of these nearly 12 are awarded from President of India for Dhokra Craft. Overnight at Dhenkanal palace. ( Total Km 90)

Day 05: Denkanal palace – Raghurajpur Heritage Village- Street Photography - Puri

After breakfast at Hotel, Transfer to Raghuraj pur Heritage Village (Painting village) situated amidst groves of coconut, palm, mango and jack fruit, the main village has two streets with over 120 houses, most decorated with mural paintings, where the painters reside and practice their Pattachitra craft, besides many others that practices throughout the village, including traditional masks, stone idols, paper Mache, sculptures, and wooden toys. Second half time for Street Photgraphy. Overnight stay at Puri. (Total Km 90)

Day 06: Puri - Mangalazodi Wet Land (Friday)

Am transfer to Mangalazodi Eco Village. The villagers of Mangalazodi will welcome you into their village; hosts more than 800000 birds which jostle in its marshy water, especially the migratory & local birds Visitors can also have village Lunch with community based initiatives. Second half village walk & photography. Overnight at Mangalazodi Eco Village. ( Total Km 130)

Day 07: Mangalazodi Eco Village  

Early morning proceeds to Wetland, 2 hours birds’ safari with Country boat at wetland of Mangalazodi, also experience the boat making and Fishing net weaving activities. With this nature safari, you will be accompanied by a village leader & they are with full of information about birds & their ecology. It’s a wonderful experience for the visitors to see bird from very close distance with no human made noises.

Day 08: Mangalazodi – Daringbadi

After breakfast chk out & transfer to Daringbadi, this is the hill station of Odisha. Daringbadi is famous for hill station, pine jungle, coffee garden, rain forest & green landscapes & ethnic tribes. This is the only place in Odisha which experience the snowfall in winter. The major sightseeing places are: Hill view point, Nature park, Doluri River, Solunki river, Pine Jungle, coffee garden, Patudi Waterfall Arrival at Daringbadi Resort. Over night at Daringbadi. ( Total Km 120)

Day 09: Daringbadi – Baliguda – Chandoorisai ( Monday)

After breakfast chk out & transfer to Chandoorisai (290 Km), enroute visit to Baliguda, known for the Kondha tribes, ethnic tourism, Dhokra art & craft at Barakhama Village. Kondha tribes were known for human sacrifice once upon a time, they are hospitable & cheerful. Then transfer to Chadoorisai Evening reach at Chandoorisai, Overnight at Chadoori Sai (Total Km 300) Village

Day 10: Chadoori Sai

Full day at pottery village of Chadoorisai at leisure, it’s a unique form of luxury eco tourism to the visitors that gives you the taste of village life. The main village Goudaguda creates Terracotta pots & utensils for daily use in surrounding areas, especially local Haats. Visitors will be closely experience the livelihood of locals. Village

Day 11: Chandoorisahi – Bisamkatak haat – Lamtaput (Must be on Wednesday)

Morning visit another color full tribal Haat ( market) Chatikona Market of Bisam Cuttak, it’s a huge vegetable market, cultivated by these Dangaria tribes on the slopes of mountains. On the way also visit Bada Paraja & Mali Village. Over night at Lamtaput, The tribal eco cottage of Koraput. ( Total Km 250)

Day 12: Lamtaput – Machkund Power project - Onukudelli – Lamtaput (Must be Thursday)

Moring visit to Machkund Power plant, Onukudelli haat, it’s home to the most furious & Primitive tribes of Odisha The Bonda. Also visit Gadaba Village, Second half free for agriculture activities, visiting villages, trekking to nearby forest Overnight at Lamtaput (Total Km 130)

Day 13: Lamtaput – Kunduli haat – Jagdalpur ( Friday)

Morning after breakfast chk out & transfer to Kunduli Haat, Similiguda Market & Limika Pottery village, Bada Paraja Tribal. Second half transfer to Jagdalpur. Overnight at Jagdalpur.

Day 14: Jagdalpur – Kanger Velley – Jagadalpur ( Saturday)

10 Am start the local sightseeing of Jagadalpur. It is the one of the most tribal belt of Eastern India with dense green patch. Kanger Valley National park is full with biodiversity, it has waterfalls, lush green flora & fauna, secretive subterranean limestone caves. This place is Paradise for nature lovers. Full day sightseeing to Kanger Velley, Waterfalls, safaris, treks & many more trill experiences are waiting for you. Evening back to Resort at Jagadalpur. Overnight at Jagdalpur. (Total km 90)

Day 15: Jagadalpur - Kondagoan Village -Kanker

8 Am Morning chk out & transfer to Nayennar village to witness the Bison Horn Dance of the Muria tribe (If available). 11 Am visit Chitrakoot Water Fall, this is called Niagara Water fall of India. Then transfer to Kondagaon Village by 12:30: wax casting to make brass work. You can see the whole process of Dhokra Metal Casting here. 2 Pm transfer to Kanker. Overnight at Kanker. (Total Km 180)

Day 16: Kanker Palace- Bharamdeo

8 Am chk out from hotel & transfer to Bhoramdeo ( 260 Km, 5 to 6 hours drive), It has a Ancient temple called Khajuraho of Chatisgarh. The temple built in 11th century & dedicated to Lord Shiva in Hinduism. The temple is 100 year older than Khajuraho Temple & located in foothill of Maikal Hill among the Sal & Bija Trees. Tribal communities like Gonds & Baigas are very prominent here. The temple has Erotic Kamasutra Positions. Chk in to resort by 4 Pm at Bhoramdeo. Overnight at Bhoramdeo. (Total Km 280) Second half transfer to Bharamdeo. Overnight at Bharamdeo. ( Total Km 300)

Day 17: Bhoramdeo

Enjoy the Home stay ambiance with a dense green cover. You can see the Bird & Butterfly flying randomly in the same premises you live, you can see barking deer, Jackals & Langur, sometime hear the sound of Monkey alarm calls at night to remind us about Tigers & Leopards. Activities: Baramdeo has full of Village activities, Like: Cycle rides, trekking with local villagers, some time with the cook from the resort itself. If visitors are like to visit nearby tribal villages: we will take them to Gonds & Baigas community villages, trek to near forest can also be arranged. Local School can be arranged.
